It sound boomy , there is too much bass. I don't like the sound

Like most of us gear junkies, I’ve listened to a zillion vids of Amos and whatnot. All subjective of course but this is the best sound I can recall hearing on UA-cam. Wasn’t planning on getting this but have to go after it after hearing this.

the idea is to blend the channels and create the eq that way, one bright and one dark channel. Surprised you didn't try this, but otherwise excellent tones!

Marshall should have registered copyright over there cabinet image..this is a blatant copy...lol

I never jumpered the channels...caused the amp to sound muddy and lacking definition

Damned- just when I thought I had made up my mind to go with the new Lion 68- I find the Dream. I have an MX5 already, and tbh it does a decent Marshal thing- but it misses the black faced fender thing pretty badly. The Dream nails it though- and with that Dumble style mod- it sounds great. Idk though- the Lion has some pretty good clean tones in it as well- and it does the whole Hendrix thing. That said- I suck at the Hendrix thing so... hmmm, I don't know, this will require another day or two of mulling over in my head, I think. The truth is that my style probably fits the Marshal better- but I'm trying to change that.

Aren't all Friedman amps based on some old Marshall, all of which post jtm sound terrible and exactly the same kind of terrible, like a crate blue voodoo for 10x the price.

Sounds great. The lack of effects loop writes this off as a gigging amp for me. As a studio tool, you could have two original (used) plexis for that price, or reissues. With a pedal or two there’s nothing here the Smallbox can’t do with the advantage of footswitchable channels and effects loop
